🪸 Decals

Decals allow you to add details to your character's clothing or add tattoos, for example.
This feature was introduced in version 4.1. To use it, expand the Decals panel.

  • Mode Place Decal: This button activates the decal placement mode for the character.
  • Undo Last Decal: This button removes the last decal that was placed.
  • Image: Allows you to select the image for your decal.
  • Size: Determines the size of your decal on the character.
  • Angle: Allows you to rotate the decal to the left or right.
  • Z-offset: Sometimes your decal may be too close to the character's body. The Z-offset allows you to move it slightly away from the character's surface.

Start by selecting the image and dragging it into the field as shown in the following example:

Once your image has been added and "Mode Place Decal" is enabled, you can move the mouse cursor over the character to preview how your decal will look.
This allows you to place it precisely where you want it.

Once you are satisfied with the decal's position, size and angle (the default Z-offset is usually fine), simply click to place the decal.

You can change the image of a placed decal at any time. If you want to add several decals to a character, simply move the cursor to another location and click again to place another decal, then modify its properties if needed. You can therefore have several different decals on the same character.
When you are finished, simply exit "Mode Place Decal".
